Extensive Professional Medical Experience and An Idea of Change
My name is Tobias Baezner, an experienced tactical medic with over 15 years in high-intensity law enforcement and emergency medical care. Originally from Germany and now residing permanently in Canada, my career is centered on providing lifesaving medical care under extreme conditions.
As a former member of Germany’s Elite Police Special Forces, I specialized in emergency trauma care in high-stress and hazardous environments. My training includes Tactical Emergency Medical Protocols (TEMPS) and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), developed in collaboration with international partners including the U.S. Military.
I am certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (European standards), Emergency Medical Responder, and First Aid Instructor with the Canadian Red Cross, with additional expertise in managing medical incidents on aircraft and mass casualty scenarios.
Through Rapid Bleed Control, my goal is to bring critical bleeding control techniques to the public, equipping them with the skills needed to significantly enhance survival rates in emergencies before professional medical services arrive.
Rapid Training for Immediate Medical Resilience
My company will be using specific methods to provide a fast understanding of first aid and build resilience towards sudden medical impacts. 5 min is enough to understand First Aid and 1.5 h hands-on training are enough to conduct the first INITIAL APPROACH of saving lives and bridge the time to the arrival of the Emergency Medical Service (EMS). In a second step participants may gain the undestanding of interactive training based on medical cases.
The 2 hr RapidBleedControl Course is based on, but not limited to the STOP-THE-BLEED Movement of the American College of Surgeons and tries to bring life-saving treatment among the people far before EMS arrives.
